JONESBORO — Riverdale High’s Nia Cole added to a stellar golf resume with her fourth straight county championship Monday at the Clayton County Golf Championships.

 Cole finished the tournament with a score of 38. She was a part of a Riverdale team that finished first as a team to claim a county title. The North Clayton Lady Eagles finished second as a team.

Riverdale also won the boys championship, edging the Jonesboro Cardinals, who finished second as a team. Mundy’s Mill’s Lionel Payan was the individual county champion with a low score of 47.

Derrick Powell is the head coach of both Riverdale golf teams.
